The John Muir Health Fund
The John Muir Health Fund is a general unrestricted fund maintained by the Foundation to ensure a readily available source of funds that may be used when and where unforeseen or urgent needs arise throughout the John Muir Health system.
Gifts of any size to The John Muir Health Fund are powerful because they can be pooled together to make a much larger impact than one singular gift can. Examples of collective gifts include $4 million to launch the Family Medicine Residency Program and $6 million for two surgical robots ($3 million each) one for each of our Concord and Walnut Creek hospitals. Pooled gifts can include individual contributions ranging from $5 to $25,000. All gifts to The John Muir Health Fund are used to support projects that further the mission and strategic objectives of John Muir Health.
